Katy Jones Garrity

Founder/Senior Archival Producer Katy Garrity has spent over twenty years producing content for outlets including National Geographic, Discovery, ID, Smithsonian Networks, and the History Channel.

She has field directed shoots around the world – flying over an erupting volcano in Hawaii, filming airports in Moscow, and traversing mines in the Chilean Atacama Desert. For the last decade, she's concentrated her efforts on archival producing - building new specials out of archival content including National Geographic's “Killer Snakes,” “Explorer: Journey to Europa,” and “Regime of the Queen" as well as managing the more than 10,000 assets of the 30x30 History Channel series "The Proof is Out There."

In 2022, she completed archival producing on the six-part Emmy-nominated series "Human Footprint" and the three-part ID series "The Tetris Murders." She's also provided her archival and producing talents to multi-media museum spaces including National Geographic's ground-breaking "Beyond King Tut", Smithsonian's "Pause & Replay," and the White House Historical Museum's new interactive location "The People's House."
